The Modi - Giannelli sas company, specialized in wrought iron outdoor furniture , was founded in 1960 in Fiesole , a small village on the Florentine hills, where Mario and Ferdinando Modi began to work and give life to their dreams by creating the " Ditta Modi Giovacchino di Mario e Ferdinando Modi".

The shop, a true point of local craftsmanship where the equipment and "comforts" of today were only a distant mirage, was initially divided into 2/3 rooms along a small road, one on one side and the other two on the other side.

For 12 years the business remained in the family's ownership, until January 1982 when Mr. and Mrs. Modi decided to sell the business to one of their young and brilliant blacksmith workers: Giannelli Luigi.

Even today, the company inherited by his son-in-law Barbari Mario together with his son Barbari Damiano, the family remains at the helm of the company always trying to renew itself and meet new work needs; to do this they decided to leave the old and dear artisan workshop to expand and become a workshop, in the heart of Fiesole, inside a 300m2 plant that allows a greater industrialization of the sector.

Nowadays we continue to produce the wrought iron furniture products that were born in that workshop in the 70s thanks to the hands and broad shoulders of the blacksmiths, but thanks to the improvements that technological development has brought us, we produce many more products.

In fact, the product is always born and created in its entirety within our workshop, allowing us to offer a true Made in Italy product.

In our workshop you can find all those products such as complete outdoor furniture in wrought iron or indoor, windows, gates, stairs, handrails, pergolas, canopies and much more; this allows us to create unique products tailored to the customer's request.

a story, a method that has been handed down for years and that we intend to energetically not let die, a product that is not designed to last as little as possible, no attention is paid to savings and attention to detail, we create unique products that are designed to accompany you in your daily life, until one day you think of replacing it, for a renovation, simply out of boredom and the need for a change, it will not be the one to abandon you due to the poor quality with which it was built.
